Michael Quante

Michael Quante is a German philosopher. From 2009 onward, he taught philosophy, with a focus on practical philosophy, at the University of Münster. His areas of research include action theory, biomedical ethics, legal and social philosophy, German Idealism, and the philosophy of the person. From 2012 to 2014, Quante served as president of the German Society for Philosophy. His publications include *Die Wirklichkeit des Geistes. Studien zu Hegel* and *Personales Leben und menschlicher Tod*. He also co-edited *Hegels Erbe* and provided commentary on Karl Marx’s *Economic and Philosophic Manuscripts*.
