Kurt Bayertz

Kurt Bayertz taught practical philosophy at the University of Münster, where he is professor emeritus. In 2013, he received the Tractatus Prize for philosophical essay writing for his book The Upright Gait: A History of Anthropological Thought. His other publications and edited volumes include Why Be Moral at All? and The Materialism Debate, The Darwinism Debate, and The Ignorabimus Debate.
