Michael Brocke

Michael Brocke, born in 1940, is a German scholar of Jewish studies. He was a professor of Jewish studies at the Gerhard Mercator University in Duisburg and taught Jewish studies at universities in Berlin and Duisburg. He also served as director of the Salomon Ludwig Steinheim Institute for German-Jewish History at the University of Duisburg-Essen and was a visiting professor in Jerusalem, Los Angeles, and Bloomington.
