Michael Anderheiden is a legal scholar whose fields include public law, medical law and legal philosophy. His academic career has included a professorship at Heidelberg University’s School of Law and the representation of a chair in legal philosophy and public law at Mainz University. He received his PhD from the University of Münster in 2000 and was awarded the venia legendi by Heidelberg University in 2004. In 2008/09, he was a Fellow of Heidelberg University’s Marsilius Kolleg.
