Melody Makeda Ledwon is a translator, interpreter, and educational scientist. She studied Africana Studies and Sociology at Hunter College, City University of New York, and Education at Washington University in St. Louis. Her work focuses on anti-racist and intersectional perspectives, African American and Afrodiasporic history and literature, and Black feminisms. Her translations have appeared in publications including »Schwarzer Feminismus – Grundlagentexte«, »Neue Rundschau«, and »Diversity Arts Culture Magazin«. Ledwon was born in Berlin and grew up between Berlin and New York.
