Max Mauff, born in Berlin in 1987, is a German actor and radio-play narrator. He is known for films including »The Wave«, »Absurdistan« and »Bridge of Spies«, as well as for the television series »Tatort« and the Netflix series »Sense8«. As a narrator, he has appeared in radio plays including »Tote Mädchen«, »Ismael« and »Krabat«. In 2013, he received the Best Actor Award at the Max Ophüls Preis film festival for »In der Überzahl«. In 2016, he won the Grimme Award for his role in »Patong Girl«; he also received the Ohrkanus Newcomer Award for narrating the role of Krabat.
