Martina Hasse

Martina Hasse, born in 1961, studied Sinology and art history, including East Asian art history, at the University of Hamburg and in Taiwan. She has worked as an interpreter and translator from Chinese. In addition to poetry and Classical Chinese, she translated contemporary Chinese literature, including works by Li Ang, Lung Ying-tai, Mo Yan, and Qiu Miaojin. She also translated specialist literature and texts on art history and film.
