Martin Sonneborn

Martin Sonneborn, born in Göttingen in 1965, studied journalism, German and political science in Münster, Vienna and Berlin. He was editor-in-chief of the satirical magazine Titanic from 2000 to 2005 and later served as one of its co-publishers. In 2004, he founded Die PARTEI. Sonneborn was a member of the European Parliament and published, among other works, Herr Sonneborn geht nach Brüssel. Abenteuer im Europaparlament. His master’s thesis examined “the absolute ineffectiveness of modern satire.”
