Georg Behrend

Georg Behrend was born in Rostock in 1954 and studied journalism in Leipzig. From 1981 onward, he worked as an editor for DDR-FF and later for Eulenspiegel. From 1998, he worked as a freelance journalist for, among others, Titanic, public-service television, and Spiegel Online. His other professional positions included work at the Berlin European office of the political party Die PARTEI. Behrend also worked as a part-time farmer.
