Martin Leuenberger, born in 1973, studied Protestant theology in Zurich and Tübingen. He received his doctorate in 2003 and completed his habilitation in 2007. In 2012, he was appointed professor of Old Testament at the Faculty of Protestant Theology at the University of Tübingen.
