Markus May

Markus May (born 1965) is a Germanist and professor of modern German literature at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. His research interests include fantasy as a cultural phenomenon, the history and theory of lyric poetry, German-Jewish literature, literary and cultural theory, and literary translation. He has co-edited the volumes “Phantastik – Ein interdisziplinäres Handbuch” (2013), “Die Welt von Game of Thrones” (2016), and “Den Drachen denken” (2019).
