Mark Z. Danielewski

Mark Z. Danielewski was born in 1966 to Polish film director Tad Danielewski. He worked on his debut novel, *House of Leaves*, for more than ten years, establishing himself as a writer. His sister, the singer-songwriter Poe, released the album *Haunted* in connection with the novel. Danielewski’s second novel, *Only Revolutions*, was nominated for the National Book Award.
