Marietta Thien

Marietta Thien studied literary and linguistics as well as European ethnology in Göttingen. She worked, among other places, at the academic Springer Verlag in Berlin and at DuMont Verlag and Könemann Verlag in Cologne. In 2022, she took over the management of Velbrück GmbH, which comprises four publishing houses. In 2025, she became editor of the literary journal Akzente.
