Maria E. Brunner

Maria E. Brunner was born in Brenner in 1957 and is of South Tyrolean origin. She taught at universities in Italy and Germany and was a lecturer and professor in Germany from 1994 to 2017. She also translated from Italian, including works by Vincenzo Consolo and Maddalena Fingerle. Her literary publications with Folio include “Berge Meere Menschen” (2004), “Was wissen die Katzen von Pantelleria” (2006), and “Indien. Ein Geruch” (2009).
