Rumiz Paolo

Paolo Rumiz (born 1947) is a journalist and author. As a correspondent, he reported from crisis regions and, since 1998, published accounts of journeys by bicycle to Istanbul, by bus and hitchhiking, on foot to the edges of Europe, and to the Arctic. Among his unusual journeys were a voyage along Venice’s historic trade routes and a three-week stay on a remote lighthouse in the Adriatic Sea.
