Marc-Alexander Schulze, born in 1977, studied illustration and communication design at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg). Before beginning his studies, he gained professional experience at the Milchstraße publishing group. From 2004 onward, he worked as a freelance illustrator for publishers and agencies.
