Anna Marshall

Anna Marshall was born in Bielefeld in 1980. At the age of five, she drew her first picture book. She studied design with a focus on illustration at Münster University of Applied Sciences and worked as a freelance children’s book illustrator and author from 2006 onward. In 2011, she received the Meefisch Illustration Award, the Marktheidenfeld Prize for Picture Book Illustration, for her picture book *Oma und die 99 Schmetterlinge*.
