Barbara Laban

Barbara Laban studied Sinology and Japanese Studies in Munich, London, and Taipei. After graduating, she worked as a translator, a practitioner of Chinese medicine, and a study director in Munich and Amsterdam. Her children’s-book debut, Im Zeichen des Mondfests, received the Goldenen Pick award in 2012. Laban is known as an author of books for children and young adults, writing in German and English.
