Lucy Barnard

Lucy Barnard is from Cheltenham. After completing an art foundation course there and studying illustration in Exeter, she worked for various London publishers before becoming a freelance illustrator. Her early portfolio included greeting-card and print designs; she later focused on illustrating children’s books. Alongside illustrating for other publishers, she wrote and illustrated stories of her own, often inspired by her two children.
