Louise Kennedy

Louise Kennedy grew up near Belfast and worked as a cook in Ireland and Lebanon for almost thirty years before beginning to write. Her short-story collection The End of the World Is a Cul de Sac was published in 2021 and was named a Sunday Times Book of the Year. Her first novel, Trespasses, was published in 2023, nominated for the Women's Prize for Fiction, and adapted for Channel 4.
