Eberhard Seidel

Eberhard Seidel, born in Sommerhausen in 1955, studied sociology and initially worked as a freelance journalist. He later served as an opinion editor and head of the domestic affairs section at the taz newspaper. Since 2002, he has been managing director of the “School without Racism – School with Courage” initiative. As an author, he has written about migration, Islamism, far-right extremism and youth subcultures. He also wrote a standard work on the history of döner kebab in Germany.
