Kirk LeMoyne Billings

Kirk LeMoyne Billings, known as “Lem,” was a close confidant and school friend of John F. Kennedy. After studying at Princeton University and Harvard Business School, he worked as a businessman and in advertising. He supported Kennedy in his election campaigns and held various roles during Kennedy’s presidency. In 1937, Billings and Kennedy undertook an extended journey through Europe as students and kept diaries during the trip.
