John F. Kennedy

John Fitzgerald Kennedy, commonly known as John F. Kennedy or JFK, was an American politician of the Democratic Party. He served as the 35th president of the United States from 1961 to 1963. His presidency took place during the height of the Cold War and included events such as the Cuban Missile Crisis, the construction of the Berlin Wall, and the beginning of human spaceflight. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963. As a young man, he traveled to Nazi Germany three times and recorded his impressions in private writings.
