Katharina Pistor (born 1963) is a legal scholar and author. She taught comparative law at Columbia Law School in New York and directed its Center on Global Legal Transformation. Her research has received several awards, including the 2012 Max Planck Research Award. She is best known for her book *The Code of Capital: How the Law Creates Wealth and Inequality* (2019).
