Kai Kauffmann

Kai Kauffmann (born 1961) is a literary scholar. He taught as a professor of modern German literature and German literary studies at Bielefeld University. His research focuses include the history of literature and culture from the eighteenth to the twenty-first century, literature and culture around 1800 and 1900, periodical studies, feuilleton writing, and essay writing. In 2014, he published the biography *Stefan George. Eine Biographie* with Wallstein Verlag.
