Julian Jochmaring

Julian Jochmaring completed his doctorate at the University of Potsdam on media ecologies. He taught at the University of Vienna and was a fellow at the Brandenburg Centre for Media Studies (ZeM) and at the DFG Research Training Group “Visibility and Making Visible – Hybrid Forms of Visual Knowledge” at the University of Potsdam. His publications include the monograph »Nach der ikonischen Wende. Aktualität und Geschichte eines Paradigmas« (2021, co-edited with Jonas Etten) and essays on media anthropology, film, and communities of care.
