Julia Christians (born 1984) studied communication design at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Braunschweig, graduating in 2011 with a diploma in design. From 2018 onward, she worked as a freelance illustrator and illustrated children’s books for German and international publishers. In 2022, her first illustrated children’s book for Hanser, »Arti – Auf Freundschaft programmiert« (written by Tobias Elsäßer), was published.
