Katja Alves

Katja Alves (born 1961 in Coimbra, Portugal) is a Swiss author of children’s and young adult books. She grew up in Switzerland and, before becoming a writer, worked among other roles as a bookseller, game designer, DJ, radio editor, columnist and editor. Her work includes children’s novels, radio plays and theatre pieces. Her series “Der Muffin-Club” has been translated into numerous languages.
