Jochen Striebeck was born in 1942. From 1966 to 1973, he was a member of the ensemble at the Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel in Munich; from 1973 onward, he belonged to the ensemble of the Münchner Kammerspiele. He was also known as the German dubbing voice of Donald Sutherland and Philippe Noiret.
