Jim Grimsley

Jim Grimsley, born in 1955 in Pollocksville, North Carolina, is an American author and playwright. He wrote prose, plays, novels, and short stories, including his debut novel, “Winter Birds,” “Forgiveness” (2007), and the collection “Jesus Is Sending You This Message” (2008). Three fantasy novels appeared between 2000 and 2006. His honors include the Lila Wallace/Reader’s Digest Writers Award for lifetime achievement (1997) and the Academy Award in Literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters (2005).
