Janne Teller

Janne Teller (born 1964 in Copenhagen) is a Danish writer. Before pursuing a literary career, she worked as a conflict adviser for the EU and the UN, particularly in Africa. She has devoted herself to writing since 1995. Her work includes novels, essays, short stories and books for young readers. Her best-known books include the novel Nothing, the works Europe, Everything You Need to Know, War: Imagine If It Were Here and Everything. Teller has received several literary awards; for Nothing, she received, among other honors, France’s Prix Libbylit. Her works have been translated into numerous languages.
