James A. Robinson

James A. Robinson (born 1960) is a political scientist and economist. He taught at Harvard University and worked in Botswana, Mauritius, Sierra Leone, and South Africa. In 2024, he received the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences jointly with Daron Acemoglu and Simon Johnson.
