Iven Einszehn is an author and artist. He published several experimental poetry collections as well as numerous contributions to magazines and books. He also participated in around 250 radio and sketch productions and ten short films. His satirical columns on politics, culture and current affairs appeared irregularly in various newspapers. Einszehn received several literary and media awards, including the Hamburg Literature Prize in 1993 and the Radio Award for the European Year against Racism in 1998.
