Vincent Voss studied cultural studies and worked, among other occupations, as a nursing assistant in an acute psychiatric facility, bodyguard, call-center agent, petrol-station attendant, photography assistant, and undertaker. Since the late 2000s, he has published ten novels and more than thirty short stories, including several horror novels. His school years were strongly shaped by pen-and-paper role-playing games.
