Isabel Pin

Isabel Pin, born in Versailles in 1975, is a French-German children’s author and illustrator. She studied illustration at the École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg and at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Hamburg. Since her first children’s book, Der Kern, which was published in eight languages, more than 40 books featuring her texts and illustrations have been published. Her best-known works include Ein Regentag im Zoo and Die Geschichte vom kleinen Loch. Her books have appeared in more than 20 countries, been translated into numerous languages, and received several awards. Pin has been nominated for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award multiple times.
