Isa Ducke

Isa Ducke is a trained Japanologist and travel-guide author. Together with Natascha Thoma, she wrote travel guides primarily about Japan, as well as Egypt, Uzbekistan and the Alps. Their books published by Trescher include “Kyoto und Nara” or “Kyoto,” and “Wallis.” Ducke and Thoma lived in Tokyo from 2001 to 2006 and also worked as tour guides for German-speaking travel companies. In addition to Japan, they pursued hiking and climbing in the European Alps and the Swiss mountains.
