Axel Schwab is a German author of guidebooks on Japanese culture, cuisine and Japan-related topics. He lived in Tokyo for more than five years, and drew on his experiences there for the guidebook »Labyrinth Tokio«. His other publications include »Japan spielend in 60 Schritten«, »Tokio Foto Guide« and »Japan in Berlin«. He also wrote the »Sushi Guide«, which explains the basics of sushi and introduces different types, including nigiri sushi.
