Hu Anyan

Hu Anyan was born in Guangzhou in 1979. After finishing high school, he worked a series of low-wage jobs and moved between different cities. In 2009, he began publishing accounts of his working life online. He became known for his reports on working as a parcel courier, which led to the memoir “I Deliver Parcels in Beijing,” a work that attracted widespread attention during the COVID-19 lockdown.
