Hermann Simon

Hermann Simon (born 1947 in Hasborn in the Eifel region) is a German economist, management thinker, and author. He was a professor of business administration at the universities of Bielefeld and Mainz and a visiting professor at Harvard, Stanford, and MIT. In 1985, he founded the consulting firm Simon, Kucher & Partners. Simon has published numerous books, including the autobiography “Zwei Welten, ein Leben. Vom Eifelkind zum Global Player” (2018), which have been translated into several languages. He has received numerous national and international awards as well as three honorary doctorates. In 2019, he became the first German inducted into the Thinkers50 Hall of Fame.
