Henriette Sauvant

Henriette Sauvant studied design and illustration in Hamburg, specializing in illustration. From 1993 onward, she worked as a freelance illustrator and taught painting, drawing, illustration, and book design at various universities, including HAW Hamburg and Münster University of Applied Sciences. From 2013, she was a professor of illustration and book design at Trier University of Applied Sciences. She illustrated numerous picture books and designed around 100 book covers for young people and adults. Her illustrations received several awards.
