Heinz Drache (1923–2002) was a German actor. After completing secondary school, he began his stage career at the Nuremberg Schauspielhaus and later worked in Berlin and Düsseldorf. He became widely known for his roles in television productions based on the works of Edgar Wallace and Francis Durbridge. One of his notable performances was as Inspector Yates in the television serial “Das Halstuch” (1962). Drache also appeared in radio plays and worked as a dubbing actor, lending his voice on occasion to performers including Frank Sinatra, Kirk Douglas, and Sean Connery. From 1985 to 1989, he played Commissioner Bülow in the German crime series “Tatort”.
