Heikko Deutschmann

Heikko Deutschmann was born in Innsbruck in 1962 and studied acting in Berlin, where he also attended a screenwriting academy. He began his theatre career at the Berliner Schaubühne under Peter Stein and later worked at venues including Hamburg’s Thalia Theater, Schauspielhaus Köln and theatres in Zurich. Since his first television film in 1984, he appeared in numerous film and television productions, including “Der Laden,” “In Sachen Kaminski,” “Kanzleramt” and several episodes of “Tatort.” He also worked as a screenwriter and filmmaker and recorded numerous audiobooks.
