Heidi Friedrich

Heidi Friedrich was a journalist and author. Her books include “Aus den Augen, doch im Herzen” and “Klangwunder,” about the oboist Albrecht Mayer, which became a Spiegel bestseller in its first edition. She worked as a correspondent for the newspaper Vorwärts in New York and also lived in London, Aix-en-Provence, Dublin, and Zurich.
