Ken Stornes was born in 1988 in Harstad, Norway. From 2008 to 2012, he served as a soldier in a Norwegian elite infantry unit and was stationed in Afghanistan twice. He trained as a medic and worked in healthcare. In 2023, Stornes set a world record in so-called death diving, an extreme sport involving jumps into water from great heights.
