Hartmut Kiewert was born in Koblenz in 1980. He studied painting and graphic arts at the University of Art and Design in Halle, graduating with honours. He subsequently worked as a freelance artist. His work was shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions, including in Leipzig, Essen, Brussels and Berlin. In 2024, Kiewert was represented at Art Karlsruhe with a one-artist show by Galerie KK Klaus Kiefer.
