Harro Zimmermann

Harro Zimmermann, born in 1949, worked as a cultural editor at Radio Bremen and was a professor of modern German literature at the University of Bremen. He worked as a nonfiction author and freelance writer. His publications include biographical studies of, among others, Friedrich Schlegel, Friedrich Gentz, Carl Ludwig Sand, Friedrich Sieburg, and Günter Grass, as well as the book *Günter Grass und die Deutschen. Eine Entwirrung*. He also edited the volumes *Das Vorbild* and *Der Verlust* for the Lenz edition.
