Harald Raykowski

Harald Raykowski, born in 1943, taught English and Irish literature at the University of Frankfurt for many years. Over the course of his career, he translated around three dozen works of English-language literature, including Lewis Carroll’s *Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland* and Robert Louis Stevenson’s *Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde*. Many of his translations were published in dtv’s bilingual series and in its general program.
