Hans Paetsch

Hans Paetsch (1909–2002) was an actor, director, voice actor and radio-play narrator. After successful years on stage and in film and television productions, he increasingly turned to radio plays in the 1960s. He became known for narrating numerous fairy-tale and radio-play productions and was widely referred to as the “fairy-tale uncle of the nation.” His work included productions such as “Der kleine Muck” and “Hui Buh.” He also narrated “Run Lola Run” and an NDR production of J. R. R. Tolkien’s “Farmer Giles of Ham.”
