Hannah Fry

Hannah Fry is a mathematician, science author and journalist. She worked at University College London, including at the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis, where she used mathematical models to study patterns of human behaviour in urban environments. Her research covered subjects including terrorism, economics and shopping behaviour, and involved collaboration with local authorities, police, health experts and supermarket chains. Fry contributed to science documentaries and podcasts. Her books include *Hello World: How Algorithms Will Shape Our Lives and Why We Should Learn to Live with Them* (2019).
