Adam Rutherford, born in the mid-1970s in Ipswich, is a British science author and radio journalist. He studied genetics at University College London and was part of a research team that identified the genetic causes of a form of childhood blindness. Rutherford wrote numerous science series and radio features for the BBC, as well as articles for the Guardian’s science section.
